Position Highlights:
- Position: Billing Representative I
- Location: Skokie
- Full Time
- Hours: 40 hours
What you will do:
- Analyze, investigate, prioritize, and resolve the daily prioritized work queue error per department policy
- Locate/obtain missing information or correct information on accounts in error and are not billable
- Process secondary billing for Medicare and Medicaid claims on a daily basis
- Work collaboratively with other team members to identify and resolve common issues
What you will need:
- Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. College degree preferred.
- Skills: Effective communicator as demonstrated through excellent and professional written and verbal skills
- Experience: 1 year of general office experience, required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare financial setting, required.
