Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Coordinator. As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Duties:
- Prepare and process invoices for customers in a timely manner
- Review billing data for accuracy and completeness
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for billing purposes
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing
- Provide support to customers regarding billing inquiries or concerns
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with coding systems and governmental accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. Internship positions are also compensated accordingly.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
