Job Description
Foster Garvey PC, one of the Pacific Northwest's leading law firms, is looking for a full‐time Billing Coordinator to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is committed to excellent customer service both internally with our attorneys and administrative departments, as well as with firm clients. They would be a team player and have a keen eye for detail.
This is a full‐time, non‐exempt position. Candidates from Seattle are preferred; however, candidates in DC, New York, Portland, and Spokane are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Facilitate all aspects of assigned client billing including generating pre‐bills, editing invoices, posting invoices, and ensuring invoices comply with client billing requirements and guidelines.
· Attorney/Client liaison; interface directly with attorneys and clients to assist in billing questions, issues and client relations.
· Communicate with and effectively follow instructions from a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff. Provide information in person, via email or by phone with courtesy and professionalism.
· Engaged contributor to the accounting team who proactively addresses opportunities for improvement to billing cycle and collaborates with internal departments
· Provide administrative support in the coordination and compliance to client e‐billing requirements ‐ accruals, budgets, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Team oriented.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate with varied audiences both orally and in writing
· Self‐motivated, proactive, and responsible individual
· Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
· Able to maintain strict confidentiality with regard to clients and other sensitive information
· Experience with Aderant, Intapp products, and eBilling Hub helpful
· Proficient in Excel and Word
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associates degree with an emphasis in Accounting preferred
· Experience working in a professional services or legal organization preferred
· Any satisfactory combination of experience and education will be considered.
Salary Range
The pay range for this position is $48,000‐$77,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate's education, training, experience, location, and other job‐related factors permitted by law.
