Billing and Collections Specialist (Home Care - Medicare)

Citadel Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing and Collections Specialist (Medicare) to join our team. As a Billing and Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely Medicare Billing and Collections for our Home Care services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the financial success of our organization.

• Prepare and submit Medicare claims for Home Care services
• Review claim denials and discrepancies, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues
• Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable related to Medicare billing
• Coordinate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes
• Maintain accurate and organized Billing and Collections records
• Ensure compliance with Medicare billing guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Billing and Collections processes

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Medicare Billing and Collections
• Strong understanding of Medicare billing guidelines and regulations
• Proficient in using Billing and Collections software
• Detail-oriented with excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve billing discrepancies
• Knowledge of Home Care industry billing practices and procedures
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary Range: $50,000-$80,0000
