Bill Review Specialist

We looking for a Bill Review Specialist who will be responsible for gathering, preparing and entering information on Bill Reviews for clients as well as responding to and maintaining client relationships.

This role is a full time, 100% remote position with a standard work schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with overtime as offered.  

Compensation is $16.00-$18.00/hour, plus overtime.

• Upload referrals, medical records and additional documents in designated locations
• Enter bill information into Bill Review program
• Review EOR for errors or questionable allowances
• Contact client if there is missing documentation or questions on request
• Review appeals or questions submitted by client
• Enter notes from client/claimant interactions into the IME Base system
• Receive and route calls to appropriate departments
• Reviews data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and corrects any data entry errors or duplications.
• Follows data program security practices and procedures at all times.
• Performs other varies clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing and proofreading as required.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should be a team player who is willing work collaboratively while rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.  We are willing to hire and train candidates but it is critical that you have the highest attention to accuracy and detail and have a passion for taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years office experience preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentages
• Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Windows File Explorer.
• Must have a full understanding of HIPPA regulations and compliance.
• Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements’ directions accurately.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. 
• Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
• Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
