Bilingual Worship Leader

Job Summary:
This position oversees various aspects to executeworship at the Espaol Campus for Wednesday and Sunday services. The Campus Worship Leader also assists in arranging worship for prayer services and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead worship for Wednesday and Sunday services at respective campus (For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. 1 chronicles 16:25}
Plan time to prepare for weekly rehearsals prior to band practice and Thursdays practices.
Communicate weekly with team members to ensure they are aware of changes to rehearsal times and location (Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. Colossians 4:6}
Give team members sufficient time to prepare when changes are made to charts, keys, or arrangements prior to rehearsal.
Stay connected to team members individually. Offer discipleship and encouragement as you deem necessary or consult with the Campus Pastor for advice.
Organize band rotation and secure subs as needed. Seek assistance from Worship Coordinator for availability of Espaol team members (The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. Proverbs 21:5)
Conduct band or vocal auditions with the assistance of the Espaol Pastors
Organize and present plans for any Praise Nights, or special services such as Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, seminars, and retreats etc.
Know how to read band and vocal charts and possess overall musical knowledge (For toone is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:8)
Assist with any admin work needed (such as transposing a chart specifically used by your campus) Provide Worship Coordinator original for posting on Planning Center and retaining file on Music Drive.
Attend Thursday Worship Staff Meetings at Melbourne to ensure you stay connected with the other Worship Leaders.
Utilize Thursday office hours at Melbourne to look ahead to the following week's Wednesday and weekend worship sets and team members. Provide any changes in a timely manner to Worship Coordinator
Be available to lead/co-lead for special services (AM/PM Prayer Week, Prayer services once a month, Full Staff Meetings, etc.) as needed.
Meet with Campus Pastor and Associated Pastor for weekly review of past weekend and overview of the upcoming weekend services.
Research new worship songs ideas to suggest at the Worship Staff meeting.
Help raise up new adult musicians and young students as Worship Leaders(Let them praise your great and awesome name- he is holy. Psalm 99:3)
Oversee the planning of worship sets and assigning team members. (Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed. Proverbs 15: 22)

Calling from God to be a Worship Leader(And he said to them, "Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. Mark 4:24)
Open and healthy communication
Flexible and willing to stretch.
Willing to counsel, encourage, pray for/with worship team and band member at any given notice.
Willing to take active steps in growing as a musician and Worship Leader(but grow in thegrace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18}
Willing to give of time, energy and possibly finances to assist in ministry other than "worship focused tasks."
Other Qualifications:
Calvary Chapel must be your home church and consider Pastor Dave Folkerts your senior pastor.
Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity (If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10)
Fruit of the Spirit is consistently displayed in your life (But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23)
Be a reflection of God's love to colleagues and visitors (A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35)
Participation in our church body for at least one year
