Your passion:
To serve Calvary Chapel Boca in worship leading opportunities, volunteer management and recruitment. To mentor and develop/disciple volunteers in all areas of the worship ministry as well as the Boca campus as a whole. To assist the Worship Ministry in administrative duties, original music recording and production and ongoing resourcing projects. This position will assist the ministry by leading worship in a variety of venues weekly, managing people, projects and resources administratively, and assisting the ministry in other areas of need.

You will:
- Manage projects as determined by the Director of Worship.
- Assist in administrative office duties
- Attend monthly worship ministry planning meeting and weekly training meetings.
- Provide music for Vocalists and Band members.
- Listen to/discover new songs for the church to sing.
- Learn worship songs, oversee and lead worship for services such as weekends, staff meeting, mid-week study, outreaches, etc.
- Help recruit and integrate new volunteers (Worship/AV) into the ministry.
- Continually develop talents and skills to be used for the worship ministry (vocal, keyboard, guitar).
- Be involved with one off-platform ministry opportunity a week at the campus (outreach, hospital visit, men’s ministry, etc.)
- Manage venue for Worship with Production Manager (gear, platform, staging, sound)
- Assist with studio projects and recordings for Calvary Music.
- Write original music for the church to worship with and listen to.
- Perform other department-related tasks as needed and assigned by department lead.
- Assist Director of Worship with the oversight of Saturday (1) and Sunday (2) services at the East Boca Regional campus of CCFL.
- Coordinate rehearsal preparation for the worship team.
- Assist East Boca Campus in local worship needs (ie. Men’s, Women’s).
- Supervise and coordinate all communication with worship vocalists and band
- Coordinating all worship team scheduling for campus services.
- Mentor the next generation of worship team members
- Performing hospital visits with Campus Pastor on occasion
- Participating in Staff Meetings, providing ‘back up’ leadership in the Campus and Assistant Pastors absence

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for relating effectively with staff members, leadership, and the church body.
- Spiritual gifts of: Teaching, leadership, administration, service, and discernment.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
- A love for growing Volunteer Discipleship — You prayerfully and creatively look for ways to disciple leaders in the church and within the ministry.
- A teachable spirit and a flexible profile when needed.
- Enthusiasm when working. Able to establish priorities and direct multiple problems or inquiries simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills.
- Compassion and empathy for others, and are able to win people’s confidence and trust.
- Experience in counseling others with the Word of God. Employs biblical principles to resolve everyday problems.
- An open flexible schedule and be able to travel for ministry need.

What you are required to know:

- This is a full-time (40 hours/week) salary exempt position.
- You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events.
