Bilingual Spanish Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Bilingual-Spanish Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of various facility throughout Houston and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial management, floor care, and commercial cleaning. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with customers and providing support to site management and employees.

Responsibilities:

- Build customer relationships and maintain customer retention goals

- Manage account budgets for labor and supplies, exceeding company goals

- Promote safety practices and provide safety training and retraining
- Perform daily timekeeping for accounts as needed
- Assist managers and supervisors with training custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Oversee floor care, including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate repairs as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, floor care, porter, or commercial cleaning roles
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of custodial safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

- Must speak, read and write effectively in English and Spanish
- Valid DL with a clear MVR
- Must clear fingerprinting, criminal background check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
