General ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of the ECE manager, the ECE Program Support Specialist provides routine department support and/or enrollment services to assigned programs.
Salary:
The full range for this position is $43,401.56 - $52,804.04. Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This position will be full-time, year-round. A health exam, including a TB test, and clearance through DCYF is required prior to the start date. The candidate in this role will provide enrollment support.

Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Functions:
- Receive and screen phone calls and visitors.
- Enter data in multiple databases.
- Establish and maintain professional, effective working relationships with families, staff and community partners.
- Adhere to program performance standards.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Receive and complete incoming and cyclical clerical work.
- Travel to various locations, i.e child care sites, home visits, and community events.
When providing enrollment support:
- Support families in gathering all necessary paperwork for enrollment.
- Utilize a variety of documents to determine eligibility and complete in person applications.
- Distribute outreach materials and participate in outreach events.
- Screen and process referrals.
- Engage in planning and delivery of multifaceted recruitment strategies.
Other Functions:
- Other duties as assigned.
- Plan and facilitate child activities at events as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in an office environment that includes customer service
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and other databases.
- Bilingual: Spanish/English.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience answering multiple phone lines.
- Experience working in an Early Childhood program.
- Experience with child care enrollment using the Procare system.
- Recent successful experience using data bases for information management.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Office environment.
- Operate keyboard to accomplish required tasks.
- Perform stationary routine and repetitive functions for extended periods.
- Frequent sitting, stooping and bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Regular attendance during scheduled work hours that can include events in the evening and on weekends.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout Clark County.
- Successful completion of a portable background check an d clearance through the WA State Department of Children, Youth, & Families.
- Tuberculosis test to meet state health requirements.
- Health Exam.
