Pave Talent is hiring a full-time Mental Health Therapist in Escondido, CA, preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
Our Client is a community-based human services organization that serves low-income and underserved populations in San Diego County. As a Mental Health Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to work with families who have experienced Domestic Violence, helping them to heal and thrive.
This position is primarily focused on providing assessment services. You'll assess families with children 0-18, meeting with every family member virtually, via phone, at home, or at other locations.
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide culturally competent and trauma-informed assessment services to families referred by Child Welfare Services and the community. You will be able to work with a diverse population in San Diego County, evaluating all family members for significant needs, making treatment recommendations, and participating in Child and Family Team Meetings to support clients in achieving their case plan goals. With ongoing training and support, you will maintain detailed case files and documentation, participate in multi-disciplinary teams, and help improve service delivery through quarterly peer review processes. Every day you will make a positive impact in the lives of low-income and underserved populations in San Diego County affected by Domestic Violence.
We are looking open to BBS registered associates and Licensed professionals.
- Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
- Associate Social Worker
- Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
If you have the licensure or have met the educational and experiential requirements to apply for licensure below, that is preferred:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
You should also have some related experience in direct client service conducting assessments.
Certification in Domestic Violence Assessment and Treatment is provided once hired.
