Are you a bilingual HR professional ready to make a meaningful impact? Lavelle Industries is seeking a dynamic Bilingual HR Specialist to join our team. This position, based in Whitewater, WI, will be instrumental in supporting our organization's staffing efficiency and diversity initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in recruiting for our Whitewater, WI facility. Develop unique recruiting initiatives, attend events, and represent Lavelle Industries during the recruiting process.
- Manage key processes, including seasonal staffing, recruiting for challenging positions, and employee schedule changes.
- Serve as a Spanish language Benefit Advocate for new hires, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Evaluate and enhance the recruiting process, partnering with creative resources and maintaining key metrics.
- Translate documents, including recruiting forms, training docs, and policies, from English to Spanish.
- Handle employee complaints, conduct internal investigations, and be the face of Lavelle Industries – impacting the overall stakeholder experience.
- Identify and address obstacles, maintain recruiting metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, HR Management, Communications, or equivalent.
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish) - strong fluency in Spanish required.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and see projects through to completion.
- Personable, persuasive, and positive – regardless of obstacles.
