Job Summary:
Performs a variety of moderately complex support tasks and support/clerical activities for the ERAP division with a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under moderate supervision.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entering information into the computer system.
- Mailing out applications to clients in need of utility assistance, along with any other assignments needed.
- Determining client eligibility for the program.
- Answering phones and schedule appointment for assistance.
- Data entry for applications and demographics in the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Accredited High School Graduate/GED Program
- Two years’ work experience or 30 hours of college credit or a combination.
- Typing rate: 30 WPM or 60 KSPM
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 2010 or latest version
- Customer service skills
- Must have a clean criminal background
- Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school GED Program. Knowledge of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public.
Physical Requirements:
- Standard office environment.
