Immigration Services Program Case Manager
Under the supervision of the Immigrant Services Program (ISP) director, the ISP Case Manager aids and support for activities and direct services for immigrants residing in Tompkins and Tioga counties. This position will facilitate outreach activities, direct services, and provide case management for the NYS Department of State’s Office for New Americans (ONA) grant.
Position Title: Immigration Services Program Case Manager
Salary: Starting at $20.00/ hour with additional compensation for relevant years of experience.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 35 hours

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
· Provide outreach to immigrant community about services available through the Office for New Americans grant.
· Pre-screen clients to assess their needs and make appropriate referrals to in-house services or community partners.
· Provide direct services, case management, and referrals to immigrant clients who have language and/or cultural barriers so they can access community resources.
· Assist vulnerable immigrant individuals and/or families attain self-sufficiency.
· Provide application assistance for clients who have language barriers or low literacy skills.
· Collaborate with grant partners in coordinating community workshops and informational sessions.
· Perform outreach to invite, encourage, and remind participants about events and meetings.
· Participate in outreach-related events such as tabling at community events.
· Provide data for monthly reports.
· Attending ONA webinars and case management training webinars.
· Attending CCTT staff meetings.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will possess an associate degree in human services related field with three years’ experience working with vulnerable individuals or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Bilingual or multilingual capability required, with preference for a current or projected new arrival caseload (preferred Spanish, Burmese, Karen, or Ukrainian).

Our hiring process and timeline:
· Applications will be reviewed regularly until the position is filled.
· Phone screenings will be conducted with qualified candidates.
· In-person one-hour interviews will be conducted with candidates who advance after the phone screening.
· In-person interviews are typically with 2-4 Interviewers.
