Bulfinch Temporary Service is looking for multiple Lab Assistants for all shifts (3pm-11pm most urgent). Please note these positions are temporary in nature and not benefits eligible but a great way to gain experience!
Central processing at Newton Wellesley Hospital is in need of Lab Assistants to work all 3 shifts M-F 40 hours per week, the shifts are 7am-3pm, 3-11pm (most urget) and 11am-7pm. Responsibilities include sorting, storing, loading, centrifugation, and decanting of patient specimens, and timely communication with laboratory and clinical staff regarding specimens.
- Previous laboratory processing, healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with computers
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with laboratory and hospital staff
- Ability to work accurately under stress, time constraints, and heavy workload demands
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
