LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in East Phoenix. This organization is looking for a contract Benefits Specialist to join their team for six months. This position is mostly fully remote, but you MUST be located in Arizona to be considered. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and the pay range is between $28/hr-$30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration: Oversee the end-to-end administration of employee benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing of benefit-related activities.
- Claims Management: Handle all claims in-house, including those related to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
- Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, offering guidance and support to enhance their understanding of available benefits.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in federal and state regulations related to benefits, ADA, and FMLA, ensuring the company's policies align with current legislation.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of benefit transactions and generate reports for management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on ADA and FMLA.
- Knowledge: Extensive understanding of ADA and FMLA regulations, along with a strong grasp of overall benefits administration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze and resolve benefit-related issues, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
