Job Description:

• We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Benefit Specialist to join our benefits team. As a Benefit Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of employee benefits. Your focus will be on maintaining precise records, responding to benefit inquiries, completing benefit paperwork, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth and error-free benefits administration.
• Benefit Administration
• Review and administer benefit inquiries and legal notifications. Coordinate property and associate communications.
• Accurately calculate and process employee benefit deductions, including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, and other voluntary deductions.
• Verify data inputs and deductions against company policies, employment agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate deduction processing in payroll systems.
• Data Integrity and Reconciliation:
• Regularly reconcile benefit deduction records between various systems, such as payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration platforms.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or anomalies in deduction amounts, contributing to data accuracy and compliance.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Stay informed about relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations impacting benefit deductions and employee benefits.
• Ensure all benefit deductions are processed in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date deduction information for employees.
• Communicate effectively with employees regarding benefit deduction-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
