We are partnered with a growing and exciting company seeking a dedicatedBenefits Manager to join the team! The Benefits Manager will oversee the organization's employee benefits initiatives, encompassing retirement plans, vacation policies, wellness programs, and various insurance coverages.
*This is a direct hireand remote position with monthly onsite meetings in Dallas, TX.
Core Duties:
Support the organization's employee benefits initiatives, enhance processes, and manage the day-to-day function of the department.
Ensure all legal requirements are met, including timely reporting for CMS, FMLA, ADA, Medicare Part D, SAR, and Summary Plan Descriptions, as well as 5500 filings and audits.
Collaborate closely with Payroll to verify accurate deductions, contributions, and payments.
Serve as a point of contact for staff members and outside suppliers, such insurance companies.
Process life status changes and update information with carriers.
Offer daily assistance to employees, addressing benefit inquiries and aiding in the resolution of benefit claims and plan adjustments.
Manage and administer 401(k) and wellness benefits programs for employees.
Manage company-wide open enrollment, coordinating with multiple business units employing various contribution strategies.
Formulate strategies to enhance enrollment rates and overall employee satisfaction.
Conduct new-hire orientations for both corporate and remote employees.
Execute the annual open enrollment process, finalize benefit plan designs and employee premiums, update our HRIS, devise communication plans/materials, and assist employees and leadership.
Ensure the proper setup of benefit programs in our HRIS, including file feeds between benefit carriers.
Develop, deliver, and lead benefit presentations.
Regularly engage with leadership to communicate changes and devise strategies to enhance our benefit offerings.
Establish standard operating procedures and workflows for tasks related to benefits.
Act as the HIPPA privacy officer for the business.
Provide training to employees on matters related to benefits as required.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; CEBS certification is a plus.
Experience working with self-insurance programs is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in benefits management, preferably within a mid-sized company.
Familiarity with the ExponentHR payroll suite is preferred.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
Thorough attention to detail.
