Opportunity

The Benefits Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive benefits program that aligns with our organization's goals, values, and overall compensation strategy. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of our benefits offerings, ensuring competitive and attractive benefit packages for our employees.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership and HR teams to define the overall benefits strategy. Researches and analyzes industry trends and benchmark data to ensure our benefits program remains competitive and compliant.
  • Creates and customizes benefit plans that cater to the diverse needs of our workforce. Evaluates and recommends improvements to existing benefit plans. Ensures that benefit offerings comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversees the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, including health, wellness, retirement, and other related programs. Manages relationships with benefit vendors, negotiates contracts, and monitors service levels. Develops and implements processes for benefits enrollment, communication, and education.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits programs. Prepares and submits required reports, including annual compliance testing and government filings.
  • Develops and executes communication strategies to educate employees about available benefits. Conducts regular benefits orientations and workshops to address employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Utilizes data analytics to assess the effectiveness of benefit programs and identifies areas for improvement. Makes data-driven recommendations to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Manages the budget for the benefits function, ensuring cost-effective benefit offerings. Monitors and analyze benefit costs and adjusts as necessary.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field required, with a preference towards a master’s degree and/or certification such as the PHR or SHRM-CP.
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits management or a related HR function with strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

The salary range for this position is $113,000 - $143,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
