Under the supervision of the Manager-HR Operational Performance, the Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Union Health’s benefit plans are built according to plan documents as well as ensuring data integrity in both the development, sourcing, utilization, and application of benefits information.

Data Analyst Details
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for Annual, New Hire, and Life Event Open Enrollment Builds within the HRIS System.
- Responsible for building, updating and maintaining eligibility feed files to 3rd party vendors.
- Mass upload of employee benefit adds, terminations, updates to the plans.
- Affordable Care Act (ACA) measuring, determining, and monitoring eligibility for employees who are not at a benefits eligible status but will qualify for benefits based on average hours worked in a specified period.
- Responsible for Administration of our Benefits Microsoft Access Database
- Designs and implements secure, efficient, and accurate methods and systems to appropriately use and report data across HR teams and organization.
- Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field required.
- 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Access required
- 1-2 years of experience as a benefit and/or data analyst required.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of computer languages used within database.
- Understanding of data sourcing, report writing, and interpretation.
