The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $55,000 - $116,900

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages relationships with external vendors and consultants. Coordinates, researches and follows up with employees, department management and insurance carriers to facilitate tier 2 level issue resolution.
- Develops, communicates, and provides education materials including retirement plan, wellness and open enrollment material to employees to ensure that they have the necessary information to select the appropriate benefit plan and understand the specific plan provisions.
- Reconciles and prepares payment for vendor invoices. Obtains appropriate management level approval. Track and log payments.
- Coordinates and supports the preparation of government filings such as Summary Annual Reports as well as assists with reviewing, updating SPDs, benefit booklets, OE materials etc.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for various benefit plans, may include system testing.
- Participates in the design and implementation of new benefit programs.
- Escalates problems/issues to management for resolution, as needed.
- Creates custom reports/spreadsheets to meet the data needs of management and HR business leadership.
- Creates reports and analyzes data to identify solutions that meet business goals.
- Analyzes current processes and identifies existing or potential problems in order to discover new process improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience. Candidates with proven experience will also be considered, regardless of formal education.
- Exceptional management skills, with an emphasis on time management and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset, paired with the flexibility and creativity to adapt to evolving situations.
- Robust analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning, enabling effective decision-making.
- Commitment to excellence in customer service, fostering positive interactions and relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plan provisions to ensure effective administration and compliance.
- In-depth understanding of benefits theories and principles, reflecting industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Delta Dental's policies, procedures, and guidelines is preferred, showcasing alignment with our organizational culture and values.
