Behavioral Health Receptionist

Access Ohio, LLC a leading Primary Care/Behavioral Health agency is looking for a welcoming, dependable and skilled Full Time Receptionist for our DELAWARE office.

*Example schedules include:

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm or 9:30am-6pm.

You will work alongside a team of providers that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, of all ages. You will have the opportunity to be the welcoming face patients see and the positivity that supports them before and after their appointment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Enter and update patient demographics in scheduling/EHR system
• Screen patient insurance cards/information, informing patients of whether we are in-network
• Schedule, enter and update patient appointments
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, including client care questions
• Contact new patient referrals
• Complete account balance payments; co payments, coinsurance
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to patients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred (Medical Office)
• Proficient computer, keyboard and typing skills required
• Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus
• EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
