Behavioral Health Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral HealthDocumentation Manager to join our team. The Behavioral Health Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Behavioral Health insurance authorizations, completing annual and bi-annual assessments, completing clinical paperwork and overseeing the clinical aspects of keeping clients in services.

Duties:
- Utilize assessments and daily progress notes to develop treatment plans and quarterly reviews for patients
- Submit well written and clinical requests for prior authorization to Medicaid MCOs
- Track and coordinate submission of continued stay authorizations for services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices and trends in Behavioral Health treatment

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field required
- Licensed eligible status with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health management or related role
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid behavioral and mental health eligibility requirements and standards
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and medical documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
