Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work one-on one with clients in homes, schools, community, and other natural settings. They will provide high quality ABA services/treatment to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders, as prescribed in the treatment program. They will use software for service delivery, data collection, and to monitor timelines. They will also ensure effective communication between all team members, implement programs, and complete documents and reports in a timely manner.
Key Job Requirements:
- Familiar with interventions based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Good knowledge of applicable computer programs, including Microsoft office.
- Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance and obtain immunizations (TB clearance).
- Motivated, professional, creative, positive, reliable, and caring individual with effective communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to provide feedback in a constructive manner.
- Relate well with clients and their families.
- Reliable transportation, evidence of valid California Drivers License, and proper auto insurance.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must be willing to travel to assigned work sites (20-30 minutes from home).
