Lead Behavior Therapist-Direct Hire
Location: Minneapolis
The person filling this role is to provide supervision to therapists that are giving one to one instructions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in a center or community based setting with preschool to school aged children diagnosed with moderate to severe disabilities, primarily Autism.
Hours: Position begins with 40 hours of supervised onboarding. The days of work will be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with occasional overtime.
Compensation: $20 - $27 per hour
Qualifications:
● Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
● Cooperates successfully as a member of a team.
● Communicates effectively with others, giving and receiving feedback.
● Experience writing IEP’s/ITP’s and behavior plans.
● Experience training staff on ABA based therapies.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality.
● Demonstrated capability to support and maintain effective relationships.
● Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving.
● Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment.
● Conduct a variety of assessments to ensure client progress.
● Familiarity with the ABBLS, SDQ or VB-MAPP.
● Experience with electronic medical records preferred; experience with Central Reach is highly preferred.
