Job Description
Iron Range Behavioral Services is looking for motivated individuals who want to work with children who have been diagnosed with autism or another development condition. Full- and part-time positions available. Virginia, Hibbing, Duluth.
Floortime workers provide intervention under the supervision of a Qualified Supervising Professional as indicated in the individual’s treatment plan. Floortime workers teach skills, collect data, and monitor progress on goals identified in the Individual Treatment Plan.
Floortime workers at IRBS provide services in client homes and in our office, depending on the needs of each individual.
Experience or education requirements (you must meet ONE of the following)
Completion of or current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in a behavioral or child development science (as determined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services)
Completion of an associate’s degree program in a behavioral or child development science and 2,000 hours of documented supervised clinical experience treating individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related condition (e.g., PCA, group home, assisted living, etc.)
4,000 hours of documented supervised clinical experience treating individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a related conditions (e.g., PCA, group home, assisted living, etc.)
Fluency in a language other than English
