About the Position:

Metro Autism Center is in search of Behavior Therapists/Level 1 and Level 2 EIDBI Providers to become part of our well-established program based in the Twin Cities. In this role, you'll engage in one-on-one sessions with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavior Therapist, you'll undergo training to deliver ABA and/or EIDBI services to a varied caseload of 10-12 clients spanning from 18 months to 18 years old.

Behavior Therapist Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Candidates must meet the qualifications for Level 1 or Level 2 EIDBI provider.
• Candidates must successfully clear a criminal background check.
• Candidates should have a genuine interest in working with children diagnosed with ASD.
• Candidates must possess interpersonal skills that allow for playfulness, enthusiasm, and the ability to bring high energy to therapy sessions.
• Candidates should be capable of establishing effective rapport with both clients and their caregivers.
• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in reading written treatment directives, collecting numerical data, and summarizing results. Additionally, strong writing skills are necessary for documenting treatment sessions.
• Candidates must be willing to work well with a team and comply with supervisory direction
