Behavior Therapist

- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically those with autism.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage skill acquisition and behavior modification.
- Engage in play-based activities to promote social skills, communication, and independence.

High need for Spanish Speakers.

• Experience working with children, preferably those with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with special education practices and strategies.
• Ability to collect and analyze data accurately.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a reliable form of transportation to get to your assigned case.

Note: Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for those without certification.
