Compensation: $75 per class

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Basketball Trainer to lead engaging and educational basketball clinics for elementary and middle school students. As a Basketball Trainer at Mindful Roots, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by teaching basketball fundamentals, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging a love for the game.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver basketball training sessions that cater to varying skill levels and abilities.
• Instruct students on basketball techniques, rules, and strategies.
• Organize fun and interactive drills, games, and exercises to enhance students' soccer skills.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their basketball skills.
• Collaborate with the Mindful Roots team to create a comprehensive and well-rounded sports curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a basketball coach or trainer, with a strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and coaching techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate young students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a group of students effectively.
• Background check required.
