Basic X Ray Machine Operator Urgent Care

Job Title: Basic X Ray Machine Operator BMO Urgent Care

Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Adjust and control X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results

Skills:
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and related technology
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and procedures

Note: Additional skills in Machining, Fabrication, Blueprint Reading, Milling Machine, Assembly, Press, CNC, Stamping Press, GD&T, Fanuc are not relevant to the role of an X-ray Technician.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
