Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering or banquet events
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with catering and banquet operations is a plus
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Understanding of the food industry, including food safety regulations and health codes
- Sales skills to upsell drinks and promote specials
