Hilton Head Distillery is a craft spirits destination and the island’s only distillery. A favorite and must-do activity for locals, vacationers, day-trippers, corporate retreaters, and everything in between; our distillery offers tiki cocktails, interactive tours, tasting flights, cocktail classes, and a bottle shop. Everything we do revolves around unique and delicious craft spirits.

Our team pairs perfectionism in their work with a love for creating memorable guest experiences. We maintain an incredibly fun and safe workplace and we’re looking for a talented individual to join our team. We are seeking an authentic, outgoing, and passionate individual to fill the role of Server/Bartender/Rumslinger.

In this role, you will transform casual drinkers into craft spirits lovers. You will maintain a high standard of customer service, grow sales, and support our ever-evolving cocktail program.

Skills

• Customer service experience, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or retail setting
• Comfortable wearing a variety of hats and flexing in the moment to support the business’s greatest need.
• Solution-oriented and drama free
• Flexibility in your availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and our community.
• 21 years of age or older

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Welcome customers into the store.
• Stay knowledgeable about our range of products.
• Create authentic and fun guest experiences with a focus on quality and attention to detail – this includes the bar, kitchen, tours, and bottle shop.
• Communicating effectively with team members, maintaining high employee morale and a drama-free environment
• Explain to customers the best products for their needs.
• Operate the POS register and accept payments.
• Take orders and deliver them to guests.
• Bus tables and help keep the tasting room clean.
• Describe our products and production processes.
• Provide spirit recommendations.
• Promote special sales and special offers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
