Bartender-$16-18 + tips

$16.70-$18 per hour base hourly rate plus tips.

Menu: Prime Steaks, seafood, oysters, pub food, major events up to 2000.

Manor Country Club has a part-time opening for an EXPERIENCED bartender with professional training and service acumen. At least 1 year of fast paced experience is required. Responsibilities include customer service, Point of Sale, standard cleaning duties, alcohol and food menu knowledge.

Manor Country Club is a private member-owned country club established in 1922, located in Rockville, MD. The club offers multiple dining venues and the opportunity to work in many different outlets throughout the property.

Wage: $16.70-$18 per hour plus tips.

Summary

The purpose of the Bartender position is to interact with our members and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the Club in our various restaurants, at the Halfway House, and at the Pool Snack Bar. Bartenders are responsible for positive member interactions while serving members in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, Bartenders are expected to be attentive to our members' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Furthermore, he / she should possess the following personal and professional characteristics:

• Minimum one year of experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma
• Punctual
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal, written, and computer skills.
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• A gracious, friendly, patient, and helpful attitude towards members/guests
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy team environment.
• Must be well organized, have a strong work ethic and dependable
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
