Barista Trainer & Quality Assurance Specialist

Award-winning, full-service, specialty coffee roaster Mr. Espresso is seeking a talented, motivated individual to join the Oakland, California-based team as Barista Trainer & Quality Assurance Specialist.

Working primarily throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with Mr. Espresso’s extensive wholesale client base of noteworthy restaurants, hotels, cafes, coffeehouses, and workspaces, the Barista Trainer & QA Specialist will fulfill a vital and multifaceted role.

The ideal candidate carries a passion for specialty coffee and offers a versatile skill set to assist in all facets of Wholesale Operations which include, but are not limited to the following:

o Client Education & Training

o Quality Assurance

o Sales & Marketing Support

o Events and Promotions

o Production & Delivery

Desired experience, skills, and traits:

• Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant / food service industry

• Minimum 3 years experience in specialty coffee industry (retail)

• People person

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Passion for food and beverage

• Attention to detail yet efficient

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Ability to shift priorities and adapt on the fly

• Versatility and flexibility

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
