Barback

The team behind Grey Ghost Detroit and Second Best is accepting barback resumes for our new restaurant, Basan Detroit. We are a promote from within organization that emphasizes a premium team and guest experience by focusing on the finer service details, a passion for food and beverage and personalized guest service. A barback is expected to master product knowledge, communicate effectively with teammates and guests, move efficiently in collaboration with bartenders and contribute their personality to the atmosphere. Applicants should be highly motivated and capable of maintaining a positive attitude while working in a high-volume, fast-paced atmosphere.

Basan is the third restaurant in the Four Man Ladder family. Our focus is on premium team member and guest experiences delivered through first rate hospitality, playful and adventurous food and beverage, and unique and energetic environments.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Passionate about food and beverage
• Open availability to work evenings and weekends
• A passion for hospitality and interacting with a diverse clientele
• A desire to learn and grow within the organization
• The ability to be active on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time and to lift up to 40 lbs
• The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
