Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure special dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Assist with food service during banquets and events
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with menu planning and development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
