Banking Specialist

Role Summary

Provides advanced administrative support for transfer agent control, cash management, and recordkeeping activities, ensuring that all required transactions are reflected accurately and timely in the transfer agent books and records.

Responsibilities:

• Performs analysis of reconciliations. Deciphers more complex exceptions between systems, accounts, transactions and cash. Reviews work performed by more junior levels. Continues to develop understanding of upstream and downstream impacts of the work processed.

• Responsible for processing cash management or fund operations transactions; ensures proper documentation and authorization for all transactions and ensures that junior associates comply with firm policies and practices.

• Analyzes, researches, and evaluates required processes to execute or correct more complex transactions. Ensures that all activities are performed following approved procedures. Communicates with internal and/or external business partners. Monitors resolution. May assist more junior teammates when difficult exceptions are to be identified.

• Leverages an in-depth understanding of the regulatory and business requirements in order to accurately perform more complex activities.

• Generates daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.

• Assists with projects designed to identify solutions and implement enhancements to current business processes and procedures.

• Ensures the quality of work performed by other associates. Assists management in the development of policies and procedures to minimize errors. Compiles resources to enable the swift resolution of recurring issues.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

• 3+ years of total relevant work experience

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility:

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Colorado: Minimum salary (USD) range $38,500.00 - $65,500.00 USD Annual
*Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington.
