SUMMARY
Provides friendly, exceptional customer service with a sense of urgency through timely and accurate processing of transactions. Answers customer’s questions, performs research to identify solutions, processes payments and transactions. Identifies customers’ needs not currently being met and refers to appropriate Bank staff. Treats customers with respect and dignity either in person, over the telephone, or via Email.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform banking services for customers, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust.
- Maintains organized files (paper and electronic) for customer accounts, stop payments, wire transfers, daily work, balancing reports, and other miscellaneous items.
- Assists customers with questions and concerns, providing solutions or performing research to identify solutions.
- Process payments for loans and handle requests for loan advances.
- Prepares and mails correspondence to customers.
- Complies with policies, procedures and government regulations related to functional areas.
- Protects the privacy and confidentiality of customers and other employees.
- Assist in teller drawer or vault cash audits.
- Perform various clerical duties for the officers in the branch.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months of customer service
- Computer experience including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous Banking experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
