Bakery Team Member

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

The bakery is an essential piece of the culture of Miller’s Smokehouse. We have had fun creating our menu full of pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, homemade bread, biscuits, and a variety of other goods, and cannot wait to evolve and grow even more over time.

We are looking to add members to the team. There are full-time positions available. This applicant must be able to lift 50lb bags of flour and needs to love early mornings.

REPORTS TO

This position reports to the Bakery Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are regularly required to stand, walk, use/reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch/crawl, talk and hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates within the environment of a fully functioning kitchen. This role routinely uses sinks and dishwashers and tools to clean kitchen equipment/appliances. Employees in this role as frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors and cleaning chemicals.
