Team Member

As a El Bolillo Crew Member – which may include baker, bread prep, cashiers, cake department, and/or utility worker – your primary responsibility is to provide every guest with great service.

Requirements:

• Conversational Spanish
• Positive Attitude
• Ability to remain calm, especially in tough situations
• Patience.
• Eagerness to learn and grow
• Ability to multi-task, switching from one task to another with ease
• Team mentality and willingness to help where needed
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Sense of urgency- our guests expect service and products quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Taking care of guests,
• Being proactive, stock up, clean up, and/or help another Team Member.
• Continuous communicating with other Team Members.
• Learn the menu to help guests with questions.

El Bolillo Bakery started out as a small Mexican bakery in the Greater Heights area of Houston. Over time the bakery became popular due to its hundreds of everyday fresh pastries and great customer service. Soon, business out grew the small building the bakery started in and construction started for a bigger bakery across the street. Following the momentum of growing popularity, another location was opened in the South side of Houston off of S. Wayside. It has become part of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce and has remained active within the Community surrounding it.

Pay: $9 - $15 / hour
