Job Description
Position: Bakery Operations Manager
Location: Chicago, Illinois area
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Food Science.
- At least 5 years' experience Managing a Commercial Food production facility.
- Experience managing a Commercial Baking facility in a semi-automated Food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Certified AIB, SQF, BRC, HACCP, GMP. Familiar with Gluten Free, Kosher, and Halal requirements
- Continuous Improvement: Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, 5S. PCQI certified for Quality and Food Safety is a plus.
- Strong Business acumen: Profit & Loss (P&L), Budgets, Capital Improvements, Project Management.
