Job Description
Elisa Pastry is a local dessert, Pastry shop focused on delighting our customers with artisanal, beautiful, and high-quality cake and desserts.
We are looking for an experienced Bakery Assistant/cake decorator to join our team in part time or full time position, 5-6 days a week. If you are energetic, efficient, friendly & love working within a team environment, we want to meet you! Please send a up to date resume, as we will be conducting interviews within the next 2 days. Qualified Candidates will:
- have experience working in bakery/kitchen
- be skilled in hands-on production
- have STRONG communication skills and attention to detail.
- have a positive attitude
- be coachable and have a desire to learn new skills and techniques
- Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor
- follow directions, establish procedures, and prioritize tasks
- have two years of culinary education (preferred)
- have worked at least one year in production and custom cake decorating
- be skilled at piping, crumbing, icing, and working with fondant
- have flexibility in scheduling, You can be off on Saturdays or Sundays
- obtain Food Handler’s Certificate (required of all FOH staff within 30 days of hiring)
