Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in the food industry. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure efficient food preparation and production according to established recipes and quality standards
- Train new employees on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines
-Cookie decorating and other pastry-related tasks as required
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency
Requirements:
- No previous experience needed. Training will be provided
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations
- Proficient in food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
