Bread Baker

Route One Bakery and Kitchen, located in Tomales, CA is looking for bakers to join our team. We are a small bakery and pizzeria located in the little, rural town of Tomales. We provide bread to various restaurants in the area and offer coffee, pastries, breads as well as pizza, beer & wine for locals and those passing through. We have a small team of 9-12 people typically and we all work closely with one another. Experience is not required. We are more than happy to teach and train the right person! The most important thing to us is finding someone that’s excited and enthusiastic about what we do and wants to continue to grow and learn with our team. Responsibilities:
- Scoring and baking off loaves
- Feeding starters
- Fulfilling wholesale orders
- Mixing doughs
- Scaling doughs
- Maintain a clean workspace and be aware of inventory levels
- 8 hour shifts; start 3-4 am to 11:30/12:30 or noon-2 pm to 8:30/10:30

We offer 20-24/hour *plus tips* depending on experience, PTO, and healthcare options for full time employees
