• Starting pay $25 depending on experience operating a Jet Vac truck. Overtime after 40 hours (time and a half).

Required: CDL with tanker endorsement and DOT medical card.
Responsible for daily record keeping, invoicing, inventory, light maintenance.
Involves service work and confined spaces.
Involves cleaning work area, equipment and truck.
Must be able to interact and contribute to the team and our clients.
Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.

Basic Function:
Operator is responsible for driving our JetVac equipment and providing prompt, reliable and safe services to our customers, including but not limited to performing duties in conjunction with the work crew to clean and clear sewers mains, storm drains, lift stations, large grease traps, sand-oil separators, catch basins, excavating utilities, and removal of wastewater.

• Demonstrates ability to use good judgment and make good decisions,
• Must speak English in order to communicate with co-workers and customers,
• Must have full use of the body and senses to be able to maintain and operate assigned equipment safely,
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record and must pass extensive background check,
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb and balance on equipment,
• Must be able to crawl in tight spaces and bend and stoop around equipment,
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds,
• Must be a US citizen or legal resident alien,
• Has knowledge of tools required,
• Bilingual capability in Spanish would be a plus

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
Body Positions: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. Employee may also be required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time while completing other duties & responsibilities.
Body Movements: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as computer equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects and to crouch when needed are also required.
Body Senses: The employee must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to close forms.
Strength: The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Duties
Duties required include but are not limited to:

• Drive and operate JetVac and related company equipment,
• Troubleshoot equipment, identify repairs needed, as necessary,
• Some knowledge of diesel mechanic repairs,
• Ability to pull hose 500 feet,
• Knowledge of sewer jetting and inspection,
• Ability to read diagrams and maps,
• Maintain company owned equipment, tools and vehicles
• Entering confined spaces,
• Complete daily work as assigned,
• Leave work area in a neat and clean condition. Ensure that area is picked up at the end of each job and each day,
• Use provided tools and equipment with care,
• Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance,
• Follow written and oral instructions,
• Any other task or duty as may be occasionally assigned by management.
