Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in Clearing tables
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on them regularly and addressing any concerns or requests
- Prepare tables for new guests, including setting up silverware, glassware, and napkins
- Clean and reset tables after customers leave
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
- Hospitality: Ability to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Help: Willingness to assist customers with their needs and go above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction
- Banquet: Experience in serving large groups of people at banquets or events
- Bartending: Knowledge of mixing drinks and providing beverage service to customers
- Customer service: Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner
- Food safety: Understanding of proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including order taking, table service, and cash handling
- Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, such as slicing, chopping, or assembling dishes
- Catering: Experience in catering events or parties, including setting up buffet stations or serving plated meals
- Food handling: Ability to safely handle food items, including carrying trays or plates without spills or accidents
