Full Job Description
Description: AFC Urgent Care is looking for a Back Office Lead medical assistant. Back Office leads are to lead by example and have stellar clinical skills Some responsibilities are as followed:
- Manage back-office workflow.
- Ensure center is supplied and equipped to support day to day operations
- Processes orders for medications and supplies in a timely manner.
- Ensure all procedure binders are up to date.
- Ensure all control logs are up to date.
- Ensure Monthly Lab and Radiology QA is up to date.
- Ensure EOBs, insurance payments are scanned, and invoices sent in a timely manner.
- Ensure cleanliness and decorum of all spaces within the facility while ensuring rooms are prepped and cleaned after each patient encounter.
- Check expiration dates on medications monthly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
Medical Assistant Certificate
1 year experience as a Medical Assistant or 1 year in a lead role
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must be willing to work weekends and some afternoon (2-8pm) shifts. We are open 8am-8pm, 7 days a week
Possess exceptional customer service skills
Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
