Back Office and Utility Wizard

This individual is a problem solver and has expert knowledge of cannabis regulations in the state of Vermont in order to keep business in compliance. Negotiation skills and the ability to balance competing priorities is a must. This is an hourly position at 30+ hours a week. To be considered, the ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible/floating schedule including nights and weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist ownership team in helping maintain and disseminate organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist Inventory Manager with product deliveries and maintain adequate levels of inventory.
• Work closely with contractors including, Chief Financial Officer and Accountant, Attorneys, Software vendors and State regulatory body.
• Maintain business records and weekly reporting, including filings, licenses, and weekly reporting to Cannabis Control Board.
• Fill-in responsibilities of Wellness Guide, Greeter & Online Order Fulfillment as needed to maintain proper store flow.
• Properly follow cash handling procedures.
• Accurately maintain product inventory counts.
• Follow standard security protocols.
• Adapt to frequent technology and procedure changes.
• Maintain an understanding of and follow state of Vermont regulations.

Job & Physical Requirements:

• Per state law, you must be at least 21 years of age.
• Per state law, you must be able to obtain and maintain a current cannabis employment permit subject to a background check.
• Vermont resident with a current valid State-issued ID or driver's license.
• Provide necessary documentation for employment in the United States.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Able to periodically bend, reach, and squat.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience, or 9+ years of professional experience.
• Retail and/or management experience preferred.
