The BOH Operations Director is an integral part of the Executive team, ensuring the Chick-fil-A Redbird team executes at the highest-level regarding food safety, food quality, and the development of the BOH team. The BOH Operations Director oversees all operational aspects of the Back of House Operations and works with the Executive team to set strategic goals to accomplish the vision and achieve financial profitability. The BOH Operations Director displays ownership in the restaurant and has a growth mindset when faced with challenges. Partnering with the Operator to protect the safety and security of the restaurant and team, the director must fully understand all the risks facing he business and be passionate about implementing policies, providing necessary communication and taking immediate steps to protect the Chick-fil-A brand.

Responsibilities include:

• Leads by example and oversees all aspects of daily BOH restaurant operations.
• Partners with the Food Safety Director(s) to achieve and maintain an Elite food safety status.
• Engages in immediate problem resolution and short-term plans to correct critical issues.
• Leads shifts of up to 20 team members with excellence and positivity to accomplish the vision.
• Drives financial performance by minimizing food waste, following the AHA system, and ensuring the BOH team understands and follows recipes.
• Ensures Chick-fil-A Redbird is meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A food safety standards.
• Serves as a mentor in the development and growth of the BOH team.
• Meets regularly with the Operator and Leadership team for training and personal development.
• Develops, coordinates, and oversees plans for completing Food Quality and Food Safety Assessments.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with 3rd party Assessment Associates.
• Partners with the Facilities and Maintenance Lead to execute plans for all BOH equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Works directly with the FOH Operations Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the restaurant.
• Monitors and maintains consistent inventory levels by executing daily inventory counts and oversees the month-end processes.
• Reviews and analyzes food cost reports as well as Customer Experience Monitor reports (CEM) to track progress.

• 2+ years of leadership/management experience
• Demonstrates humility and has a servant leadership mentality

• Must be willing to work nights/weekends and must be able to stand for long periods of time

Chick-fil-A Redbird is located in the southern sector of Dallas as part of the Shops at Redbird and is currently set to open in the Fall of 2023.
