Position Summary:

As BenefitHub’s B2B Demand Generation + Content Marketer, you will thrive by increasing demand for our product through a holistic marketing strategy designed to generate quality leads, nurture qualified prospects, and support the positioning of our platform as the world’s leading voluntary benefits solution. This role involves driving growth through a diverse mix of lead generation channels, optimizing campaigns, supporting business development, analyzing marketing performance, providing reporting, and leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools to achieve our target KPIs. You will also craft and deploy a content strategy that educates, engages and translates value + benefits to prospects and clients. To be successful in the role, you will seamlessly collaborate cross-functionally with sales operations, product and business development colleagues to support the efficient growth of our global client base.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive B2B multi-channel Demand Generation strategies covering the entire marketing and sales funnel (TOF/MOF/BOF), including awareness, lead generation, and nurture campaigns.
  • Oversee in-house organic and paid digital marketing campaigns end-to-end, including but not limited to: LinkedIn ads, SEM, SEO, email marketing, content marketing
  • Conduct marketing attribution analysis that will help connect marketing efforts to the company's ROI and CLV.
  • Provide a regular (weekly or biweekly) CRM performance metrics and conversion status reporting to sales and marketing leadership and other stakeholders
  • Build and grow lead funnels, partnering with sales on the structure, system lead flows, lead scoring, and monthly metrics
  • Implement an ongoing testing plan to increase conversion rates and support closed/won yields
  • Create a system for testing and evaluating the success of our lead generation channels
  • Define and execute a segmented, persona-based lead generation plan including segmentation by company type, prospect, customer, and other areas as needed
  • Adapt and execute Demand Generation strategies to cater to various global markets
  • Develop and manage an omni-channel content strategy to support Demand Generation, brand awareness, & thought leadership
  • Drive all content creation: front end marketing collateral, blogs, lead magnets, white papers, social channels, newsletters, website content, presentations, and more needed to convey our message to our target prospects effectively.
  • Build a marketing program to support customer retention and engagement to reinforce value, announce new feature releases + enhancements, provide value add strategies and thought leadership.
  • Report weekly and monthly on funnel status, lead traffic, program results, and campaign results.
  • Efficiently manage a Demand Generation budget to achieve target CPL, CAC and ROI KPIs.
  • Work closely with sales to develop and implement key customer acquisition and engagement strategies for every part of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to define product/service offerings, messaging, competitive differentiation to incorporate into core marketing content.
  • Develop and publish marketing newsletters for circulation to clients + prospects.
  • Maintain a feedback loop with sales teams to optimize campaigns, align messaging, and identify opportunities for pipeline acceleration.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B Demand Generation or lead generation, including full-funnel strategies.
    • 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with experience in target audience segmentation, buyer personas, and buyer journey mapping.
    • A goals and results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quantifiable targets and objectives
    • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and strong project management capabilities
    • Experience with implementing and measuring B2B growth marketing and/or B2B Demand Generation campaigns
    • Experience in using content marketing strategies to drive leads and build brand equity
    • Experience managing PPC, display, and paid social advertising as part of a comprehensive marketing campaign
    • Exemplary analytical skills to identify measurable success metrics such as cost per client, cost per lead, etc.
    • Creative skills to define a roadmap of growth marketing and/or Demand Generation strategies to test
    • Strong command of sales lifecycle stages (opportunity, lead, MQL, SQL, etc)
    • Sharp problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong organizational skill that demonstrates ability to effectively prioritize and multitask on a daily basis
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a keen ability to interface with all levels of management, clients, and peers
    • Ability to listen empathetically, understand information presented by people with different communication styles and different points of view
    • Excellent grasp of marketing automation best practices and experience with marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred)
