Primary role to Schedule all Marine Oil Movements of ANS crude, with a secondary aspect to help aid in Oil Movements in the Lower 48 as well.
- Schedule marine transportation for crude movements from Valdez, AK to west Coast and foreign markets.
- Monitor production volumes from TAPS and storage levels at Valdez terminal.
- Work with the ANS trader to understand market sales and demand forecasts.
- Plan and develop a voyage schedule for ATC vessels to accommodate the supply at Valdez and market needs.
- Work with Valdez and the refinery markets to fit our voyages into their schedules.
- Work with markets and other Valdez operators to solve scheduling issues as they arise.
- Interact with the trader and shipping ops to find solutions to scheduling problems as they occur.
- Schedule foreign vessels as required.
- Coordinate/hire cargo inspectors required at origin/destination.
- Communicate schedules as needed to company marine ops, ATC, TAPS, Valdez terminal.
- Approve voyage volumes required for the accounting process.

- Five (5) years minimum oil marine scheduling experience, with minimum eight (8) years industry experience.
- Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, external peers, and counterparties.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Proficiency in the use and application of: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in accounting/business, or related field or equivalent experience of any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
